Reds block Force
The Reds have done the Stormers a big favour by beating the Western Force and denying them a bonus point. The Queenslanders clinched a 29-12 victory over the team currently one point ahead of the Stormers on the Super 14 log.
The Brisbane side crossed the try-line three times through Leroy Houston, Morgan Turinui and Andrew Walker. Clinton Schifcofske kicked a conversion and 3 penalties, while Berrick Barnes also added three points. The visitors from Perth failed to score a single try and Cameron Shepherd kicked four penalties.
The Reds are already out of the running for the semi-finals, but have now moved away from the bottom end of the log to tenth place on 16 points. The result means the Stormers will go into the top four if they beat the Hurricanes and the Waratahs lose to the Lions tomorrow.
